A collaborative community d.i.y. screen printing project located in western north carolina. drewsbasement is a small community of d.i.y. artists and screenprinters operating collectively in a decentralized fashion, which started out of drew's literal basement, and much of the work continues to be done in said basement. the mission of this project is not only to provide affordable screen printing services to our community for people who can't afford to shop at a larger print shop, but to allow more direct access to the means of production of t-shirts and other screen printed products.

the purpose of this site is to provide information about the project, as well as resources for aspiring printmakers of all skill levels. We offer one-on-one lessons by appointment, free equipment rentals, advice on how to build your own press and other equipment, where to source supplies for cheap, and allow locals to use the basement space to print their projects free of charge. you can also pay
